As Bellus Medical continues to solidify its position as an innovative leader in the medical aesthetic device industry, it’s critically important that we have someone in place to help grow, develop and empower our sales force toward our commitment to providing compelling, differentiated products that enhance the patient experience and represent a significant business opportunity for our practice partners.
With that in mind, I’m excited to announce the hiring of Michael McKenna as Vice President of Sales. Michael will be responsible for establishing sales targets to meet company objectives, and for developing strategic sales plans based on company goals that will promote sales growth and enhanced customer satisfaction.
Michael is a seasoned business leader with more than 20 years of sales expertise within the healthcare and pharmaceutical industries and has a proven track record of successfully developing and implementing aggressive sales programs.
Previously, Michael was the Vice President of North American Sales and Operations at Suneva Medical, where he successfully led strong sales revenue growth over a short period of time and directed the rapid development of Suneva’s customer service group and inside sales force to support its expanding needs.
Michael has a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration management from Auburn University. In his free time, he enjoys skiing, golf, tennis and spending time with his family.
